I am an academic NHS doctor and a fellow at the Centre for British Progress. I was previously a Policy Adviser to Labour’s Shadow Minister for Science, Research and Innovation.
I am on the committees of Labour Digital and the Labour Campaign for International Development. Before that I spent four years on the committee of Scientists for Labour. I write about science, innovation and AI policy from a Labour perspective at White Heat, and about politics, communications and delivery at Productive State.
